We have a big house, quite big for the three of us and despite the free rooms, we findourselves getting together in only a few areas. The master bedroom and the kitchen.
Now, I’m not going to talk about our daughter jumping in the bed thinking she’s a gymnast but about the time we spend together in the kitchen, may it be during meal times or while waiting for the meals to cook. You know the saying “Life’s Good in the Kitchen” and we make sure we live it to the fullest.
With my husband working so many hours a week we try to squeeze in as much family time as possible. We try to do everything together. From little chores around the house to grocery shopping or even furniture shopping, we’ll always find the three of us.
There’s only one thing I end up doing all by myself – the dishes. Somehow, as soon as they pile up in the sink, everyone gets super busy. I’m dreaming of that dishwasher that loads and unloads the dishes. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Speaking of nice dreamy things, ever since I started this blog I think I redecorated the kitchen in my mind at least 10 times. I’ve been dreaming of having all my appliances stainless steel for years.
My heart skips a beat every time I see the LG 4 Door Refrigerator with Door-in-DoorTM with CustomChillTM Drawer. I’m sure is everyone’s dream refrigerator.
How can not be? The door within a door feature allows quick, easy access to your most needed snacks and beverages without the need to open the entire refrigerator door. Eggs, milk, juice and butter with just the push of a button. The versatile CustomChillTM Drawer offers you additional refrigerator or freezer space just when they need it. Featuring four different temperature settings, the drawer adapts to your needs. One day you can store all that extra fresh produce you got with your CSA, the next day that large baking sheet with the scooped cookie dough.
Now of course, when there’s cookie dough chilling in the fridge, everyone is back in the kitchen. Pacing in front of the oven, peaking through the glass door just waiting for the timer to go off and the smell of fresh baked cookies to take over the house.
I love seeing the sparkle in their eyes when I hand out fresh baked cookies, that if they have that much patience and don’t attempt to self-serve as soon as I take the cookies out of the oven.
I’ve been fortunate not only to have such a beautiful family but also to have a kitchen with a double wall oven. They are the loves of my life.
The stainless steel LG double wall oven is a life saver just like the 4 door refrigerator.
With the amount of baking I do, either for just my family, for my daughter’s playdates or for the get-togethers I host at my house, almost every day there’s something baking in the oven. On various occasions I was thinking how nice it would be to actually have a 3rdoven.
The sleek ovens have SmoothTouchTM Controls, crisp convection and my favorite – self cleaning! And you know what? It makes music when the timer goes off, just like the washer and dryer. And I already told you know how much I love my LG washer and dryer!
Have you noticed how all the cooking shows have spotless appliances no matter how much they cook? I used to wonder how they do it.
I love watching cooking shows and not just for getting recipe ideas but also day-dreaming about their sparkling clean appliances.
